The Williamston Library Is Moving
The Capital Area District Libraries recently announced that they will be moving their Williamston library branch. In late June, the Capital Area District Libraries will be moving the Williamston library into the Middle School located at 3845 Vanneter Road. The location will increase Williamston’s space from 2,500 to 5,682 square feet, which will result in an expanded collection, additional public computers and a larger event space.
According to Scott Duimstra, theCADL Executive Director, the move is "ideal because the space is already set up to be a library, which significantly lowers the cost of renovations.” The move is part of a partnership with CADL, the City of Williamston and Williamston Community Schools
