Looking for a new TV show to binge-watch? According to ClickOnDetroit, the most watched Netflix show in the U.S. last year was "Orange is the New Black". In Michigan the most watched show on Netflix was something called "Confession Tapes". I have to admit, I've never seen "Confession Tapes", which is a true crime show that examines a different case in each episode, involving murder cases where the accused say they gave a false confession. Two of the seven episodes concern murders that happened in Michigan.

I might check it out. Last year we got caught up in a show called "Killing Fields" which focused on a real 13-year old "cold case" murder, in Wight County, Virginia. I gave it a chance initially because it reminded me of a real-life version of "True Detective" on HBO, starring Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey.

I'm still not sure what this all says about me, or Michigan, or America, but I guess stories don't get more dramatic than the ones involving murder.
