Michigan winter weather

New to the Mitten State? Winter in Michigan may be different than where you lived before. Here are 5 things to be ready for during your first Michigan winter.

There are three types of winter weather drivers in Michigan - you definitely fall into one of these categories.

A winter storm & plenty of snow is coming to town this week. With that in mind, East Lansing's City Manager declared a snow emergency & reminds us that there's no street parking during that time.

So far, the forecast says that we could see a big snowstorm come through Michigan next week. However, this is Michigan, and weather can change on a dime...so we'll see if we get a snow storm or snow flurries.

The calendar may read December, but the weather is going to feel a bit more like April or May these next couple of weeks.

It's either good news or bad news depending on the type of weather you prefer.

There are a few things that everyone who lives in Michigan should have on hand during the winter months.
