Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer held a briefing Friday in which she strongly encouraged all K-12 schools in the state offer the option for in-person learning by March 1 and earlier than that if possible.

Epidemic orders were extended by 12 days less than 24-hours before the orders that closed restaurants to indoor dining and limited indoor gatherings were set to expire.

On Sunday, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services spoke to Michiganders, and issued new orders to help stop the spread of COVID-19 within the state of Michigan.

A disturbing story coming out of Michigan today, as police have announced that they thwarted an attempt by a group that they are referring to as a "militia" to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

As of Monday, face masks are required to enter any business in Michigan. The new order clarifies medical issues by wearing a mask and who is and isn't excluded.
