Stephanie’s List Of 5 Things You Could Buy In Lansing With $1,000

On this snowy Thursday, I came up with 5 things you could spend $1,000 on in the Lansing area during this crazy winter weather in April:

  1. A sump pump alarm--you know to let you know when your sump pump has stopped working and your basement is about to flood.
  2. A snow shovel that doubles as an umbrella--because Mother Nature keeps giving us this snow/rain mix...that way you're covered for either type of precipitation.
  3. A new winter jacket---because they're probably on clearance right now since it's supposed to be SPRING.
  4. A new pair of boots---because well, they're also probably on the clearance rack right now because it's supposed to be SPRING.
  5. And finally--mittens--because we live in Michigan and when you have a pair of mittens on and you put your hand up, you're helping to promote tourism in the state. :)
