Spring Bark Is Coming, and ICACS is Offering Discounts On Dog and Cat Adoptions
With our weather warming up we all feel the desire to get outside and enjoy our beautiful state, and what better way to do that then with a four legged friend. Ingham County Animal Control Service is hoping to find loving homes for about 40 pets during their “Spring Bark” promotion. Their adoption special for dogs, which includes a dog license is $50, and for Cats the cost is $25, this promotion is lasting through April 10th.
All of the pets up for adoption have been spayed or neutered, have been provided age appropriate vaccinations, and will have been microchipped and licensed. You will need to fill out an adoption application, and provide a letter showing approval by your landlord or leasing company.
This should be a family decision, pet adoption is a life long commitment. ICACS is also looking for foster homes for kittens. If you or your family doesn’t think long term adoption works for them, they urge you to consider fostering cats or dogs. Their foster coordinator would love to hear from you.
