Ramps Near 127/496 Interchange Closed Shortly Over Weekend

If you're going to be traveling on the 127/496 interchange this weekend, be aware that you may need to take a different exit than normal.

According to the Lansing State Journal, crews need to do some bridge inspections which is why four different freeway ramps being closed for a short time. The Trowbridge entrance ramps onto 496 westbound as well as on 127 northbound will be closed. The other two closures will be Kalamazoo/Michigan Ave. exit from 127 northbound, as well as the Homer Street entrance onto 127 southbound.

The ramps won't be closed for very long. Each ramps will be closed for 4-6 hours sometime between 7:30 am Saturday and 5 pm Sunday. MDOT has detours posted. Get more info HERE.
