Ah, the Upper Peninsula - an outdoor wonderland, full of woodland animals and the people who like to hunt them - even in the cities. And that can be a problem.

On Sunday, according to MLive.com, the Michigan DNR got tipped off to the fact that somebody had taken a big 12-point buck, with a compound bow, in a suburban neighborhood of Marquette. Not just any 12-point buck, but the one the residents had been taking pictures of for years. And somebody had a good idea about who killed the buck. Probably because of the blind and the bait pile he had set up - on somebody else's property. The gentleman in question told the DNR he had killed the buck in an area 20 miles away. However, the buck had pretty distinctive antlers and EVERYBODY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD HAD PHOTOS OF THE BUCK IN THEIR FRONT YARD.

So, the guy's in trouble.
