Did you hear the storms and heavy rain that moved through the Lansing area early this morning? Well, you might hear those sounds again tonight because the National Weather Service says that the Lansing area could see some severe thunderstorms later this afternoon and tonight. The main threat with the storms later today and tonight will be hail and damaging winds. The National Weather Service also says that there is a  "low chance of a tornado late this afternoon and evening across far southwest Lower Michigan."

If that weren't enough, there's also the possibility of some more storms with strong winds on Sunday that could potentially cause some power outages, too. The NWS says that we could see wind gusts as high as 38 mph on Sunday. Click here to get more details from the National Weather Service.
