Last week, we told you Sam Hunt had put out a post on social media about finishing up a record and having to rehearse new songs. Now we know why. His album, Southside, is out April 3rd and he's got a massive tour planned. And according to our friends at Taste of Country, Sam's coming to Michigan. Not just once - twice.

Here's the timing - the Southside album is out April 3rd and tickets for the Southside Summer Tour go on sale on Feb. 14 through Ticketmaster. The tour starts May 28th in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kip Moore and Travis Denning will be joining him on most of the tour. Then, June 19, Sam will be at  DTE Energy Music Theatre. He'll play Chicago on June 20th and then be back in Michigan to play up at Soaring Eagle on June 25th!

Hmm - he'll be in Michigan for a few days with no dates to play. I wonder if he'll turn into a tourist and hang out on the beach somewhere.
