If you are used to driving through this area or are planning on driving this way in the near future, you’re going to want to have this information.

Beginning on Monday, there will be some lane closures on Cedar Street that will affect your travel time, should you choose to head that way. The area that is scheduled to be closed is the intersection of Cedar Street and East Holmes Road.

The reason? According to WILX-TV, The Lansing Board of Water and Light will be working to repair water main breaks.

The result of the repair work and the road closure will be that Cedar Street will be going down to one lane in both directions around the Cedar and East Holmes intersection. Everything is scheduled to be wrapped up in the area by Friday, November 1.

Of course there will be delays in the area so you may want to allow some extra travel time or find another route to avoid the area completely during the closing.
