Northern Michigan Town Elects Cat Mayor

Up on "The Peninsula", in northern Michigan, the town of Omena (at the north end of Sutton Bay) has gone and elected Sweet Tart as their mayor. According to People magazine, Sweet Tart is not a stripper, but a nine-year-old cat. After serving as Vice Mayor for the last three years, she obviously decided she was ready for more responsibility. In a town with a population of 280, over 7,000 votes were cast, clearly pointing to Russian interference.

Newly-elected Mayor Tart beat out a field of two cats, a peacock, a chicken, 13 dogs and one goat. Many of Tart's competitors will now serve in her administration.
