If you have a place up north or know people who live full time up around Alpena, Michigan State Police want you to be on the lookout. According to MLive.com, MSP is advising people in that area to watch for a couple of "rough and scruffy" (and possibly drunk) men going door to door, selling meat out of what appears to be an UN-refrigerated truck. On top of that - they're pushy when you tell them, "no, thanks". Police are quick to point out - it's not illegal to sell items door-to-door, but the concern is that people doing this may be scoping out your house to see what kind of cool stuff you have in there.

My guess is - up in that area, if they keep doing this, these gentlemen will encounter somebody who will, you know, "convince them" to move their operation.
