No Fireworks This Year At Silver Bells In The City In Downtown Lansing
The City of Lansing announced a big change for this year's Silver Bells In The City in downtown Lansing. According to their Facebook post, there will NOT be fireworks at this year's Silver Bells In The City festivities. Why? Well, according to city officials, "due to the Geothermal field installation project that is currently taking place on the west side of the Capitol and for the safety of attendees, there will not be a fireworks display as part of this year’s Silver Bells in the City festivities." They do add that this is a one time thing and say that fireworks will return next year for Silver Bells. Click here to read their Facebook post.
Here are some pictures I took of last year's fireworks at Silver Bells In The City.
