Lansing is no stranger to locally owned businesses. In fact, there are a good amount of them. And since these local businesses are owned by fellow community members, it's nice to seem them blossom.

Hoplite Games had originally opened at the corner of this business strip. However, with all the construction going on along Michigan Avenue, it may have been hard to know they were there.

You can buy anything and everything you need for your table top role playing games here. You can even find an empty table and bring your adventuring party with you to play games there!

Rick, the owner, said that Thursdays are painting night, where you can come in and get a mini figurine to paint for free. Who doesn't love a fun craft night with friends?

If you like this kind of shop, you'll be happy to know that a comic book shop went in the old storefront that Hoplite Games was in... and it's right at the end of the same block.
