Michiganders know that when it's made in the Mitten State, it's good. So you know this Michigan-made ice cream is going to be a delicious treat this season.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't following various ice cream brand on social media. One of those is made right here in Michigan: Hudsonville Ice Cream.

Michigan-Made Ice Cream Releases Limited Edition Holiday Flavors

Hudsonville Ice Cream got its start nearly 100 years ago, in 1926, in Hudsonville, Michigan. Nowadays, they've relocated to Holland, Michigan. But, they're still serving up delicious Michigan-made and themed ice cream.

For the 2024 holiday season, Hudsonville released two limited-time flavors: Peppermint Stick and and Campfire Cocoa.

Peppermint Stick was so popular that Hudsonville brought it back this year. Campfire Cocoa, however, is brand new!

Hudsonville Limited Edition Flavors

Peppermint Stick is a peppermint flavored vanilla ice cream swirled with crushed peppermint candy pieces. I'm not the biggest fan of peppermint, so the Campfire Cocoa is way more up my alley. It is a "rich chocolate ice cream with a marshmallow swirl".

You'll likely find these limited edition flavors in places like Meijer and Walmart, but there are plenty of businesses that carry them. You can find exactly what you're looking for with Hudsonville's "Scoop Locator".

Honestly, you probably won't go wrong with either flavor, because everything Hudsonville does is delicious. I especially love their version of Michigan-staple, Superman ice cream, with their version called Super Scoop. Double Chocolate Almond is another delicious flavor.
