New Chick-fil-A and Aldi Coming to Busy Lansing Corridor

Have you driven along Lake Lansing Road between Wood Street and Eastwood Towne Center in Lansing recently?

If not, you might not have realized that there's a lot of construction going on there at the moment. To be fair, there's a lot of construction happening around Lansing in general...

But this isn't to fix the roads, this is to build a couple of new businesses.

There are two major businesses that plan to set up shop along Lake Lansing sometime soon: Chick-fil-A and Aldi.

A Third Chick-fil-A Is Coming to Lansing

This will be the third Lansing Chick-fil-A location, and the fourth overall for Greater Lansing (with one location in Okemos). At this time there's no word on an exact opening date, however, progress seems to be moving quickly enough that it's possible for it to open before the end of the year.

When it does open, Chick-fil-A will be located at 2615 Lake Lansing Road, the former location of Comerica Bank. Additionally, this would be one of many restaurant openings that are happening this year. Greater Lansing has already seen over 15 places open their doors, with at least ten more on the way.

Aldi Expands With Another Lansing Location

Ground has also broken on an Aldi that's moving in just down the road from Eastwood Towne Center. This would also add the area's fourth location, with Aldi stores located in Okemos and Lansing's west and south sides. A fifth location will be opening in Grand Ledge as well. 

There's no opening date for Aldi just yet either, but when it does open, you'll be able to find it at 2110 Lake Lansing Road near Wood Street.
