New Axe-Throwing Bar/Restaurant Opening in Metro Detroit

There's a new spot coming to Westland, Michigan later this month that will to put your axe-throwing skills to the test.

The Legendary Axe is said to be Metro Detroit's largest and most elaborate axe throwing facility.

The owners of The Legendary Axe are already well-known within in the community as their the same group that owns and operates Hush Haunted Attraction in Westland. Apparently, they've taken their skill sets and have incorporated them into The Legendary Axe.

The crew described the venue to WDIV as walking into a “remote, jungle sea-plane hangar.” the place has big, shiny wood floors, trinkets, interesting light fixtures and furniture, situated in a dimly-lit wooden vessel.

Aside from axe-throwing they also have a full-bar (and lounge) and menu. Some of the items on their menu include chicken wings, nachos, loaded pretzels, street tacos, sliders, and more.

There's also a really cool spot that you can just chill and relax by a fire.

The grand opening of The Legendary Axe will take place on March 12 &13.

Monday-Tuesday Closed
Wednesday-Thursday 4 pm - 10 pm
Friday 4 pm - 12 am
Saturday 12 pm - 12 am
Sunday 12 pm - 9 pm

You don't have to book in advance but it's highly suggested especially if you have a large group. They have a couple of packages to choose from on their website.
