
One of Michigan’s Favorite Grocery Stores is Proposing a New Lansing Location
There are so many grocery store chains across Michigan, but some of them are loved a bit more than others. One such grocery store is proposing a new Lansing location.
Ranking in the top top of 'best grocery stores' by USA Today and Food & Wine, ALDI is proposing the addition of a new Lansing location.
ALDI Grocery Store is Proposing a New Lansing Location
According to the Lansing State Journal, ALDI is looking to add a location at 2110 Lake Lansing Road, which is near Eastwood Towne Center. The land is already zoned for commercial use, it can accommodate a store of about 20,600 square feet, and a parking lot of 90 vehicles.

At this time there's no word from ALDI on when they might like to have the location open. However, the Lansing Township Planning Commission recommended that the Board of Trustees move forward with reviewing the project. Township Planner, Brad Beck estimates that the board "will likely review the project in mid-March.
ALDI Locations in Greater Lansing
If and when these plans get approved this would offer a more centrally located location in Lansing.

Currently, Lansing has a store on Pennsylvania Avenue as well as West Saginaw Highway. There are also locations in Okemos, Owosso, Howell, and Jackson. ALDI has a grand total of 114 Michigan locations and 2,474 across the United States.
