Just as things started to dry up from this past week's flooding, more April Showers are on the way.

According to the Lansing State Journal, the Lansing area is likely to see some thunderstorms on Monday, bringing with it an estimated half-inch of rain. This may not seem like much, but with the water levels already at the highest they've been in years, this certainly isn't going to help.

Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, Cort Scholten, says that the rain could "prolong the flooding duration by a day or so." Also be aware that the storms Monday night could be severe; in addition to a half-inch of rain, the storms could also bring "cloud to ground lightning, hail, and 60 mph wind gusts." Read more on the story HERE.

Also, take a moment to see what roads are already closed in the Lansing area due to flooding. There's a list of closures HERE.
