Over the weekend we decided to take a road trip to Howell. One of the main reasons for our trip was to check out the cool shakes that I've recently seen posted online from people who have gone to the M Street Baking Company. Here's a little recap of our road trip...

First, we stood in a rather long line and ordered our shakes. Unfortunately, we picked a busy time on a Saturday because the wait for our shakes was over an hour. (By the way, for those that don't want to wait an hour for a shake, there is a Dairy Queen in downtown Howell, too--which was also packed.) While we waited, we got to check out some other fun spots in downtown Howell. We visited a cute little shop called Simply Charming. (I probably enjoyed that more than my husband and son.) We also checked out the war memorial at the courthouse, we got to watch a girl get some of her senior pictures taken in a cool alley in downtown Howell, we watched a hot air balloon fly over our heads, we saw a hearse that had the sign, "Sorry, we are dead" hanging in the back window and we saw the start of a cool sunset.
