Just in time for Halloween, the Thrillist website has come up with a list of the creepiest urban legend in each state. The list includes "dog boys" and "skunk apes" and even a beautiful, skinny-dipping ghost named Diana, seen in Indiana on the beach on Lake Michigan.

Their pick for Michigan? A deranged preacher who, while possessed by demons, killed a group of children and threw them in the Cedar Creek, in Algoma Township (north of Grand Rapids) Got to tell you - I frankly prefer the much less horrific "skinny-dipping ghost" from Indiana.

The good news - you can visit Hell's Bridge, an old, narrow metal bridge, where the children thrown into the Cedar Creek reportedly scream out. ClickOnDetroit found the bridge and took some photos of the the spot.

I don't know if the screaming ghost children trying to scare people or yell at them for being stupid enough to walk across a clearly unstable bridge.
