Last night, this week's College Football Playoff rankings were released. Thanks to the victory over Penn State, Michigan State jumped twelve spots - from #24 all the way to #12 - and, according to SBNation, the biggest jump in the history of the College Football Playoff rankings (I think this is the fourth year they've done them, but it's history, nonetheless)

Ohio State came in at #13. And, of course, this Saturday, Michigan State will play Ohio State in Columbus.

Ohio State is favored. Poor Vegas. Don't they know?

Anyway, Michigan State could still make the playoffs, but it might take more than State winning out from here.
