Michigan State Football Ranked No. 18 – A YEAR From Now

ESPN got eight college football writers together and had them rank college football teams for the next fall. Not this year - the fall of 2016. According to MLive.com, these writers have some reservations about Michigan State after QB Connor Cook leaves the program next year. That's why, even after one of the greatest recruiting seasons in the history of Michigan State, the "insiders" rank MSU #18 after this year. Michigan ranks No. 15, even though we don't know what the impact of Coach Harbaugh will be yet.

I don't know if they're insane - or brilliant. I mean, they got me (and Mike Griffith from MLive.com) fired up enough to write about them and for you to read this far.

Clearly, we're the insane ones. Case closed.
