One Beloved Michigan Food Makes the List for “Worst Rated Dishes in the World”
Michiganders have a peculiar love for a food that has officially been named one of the worst dishes in the world.
Now don't get me wrong, there are so many delicious foods that are from Michigan and beloved by Michiganders. Foods like pasties and coney dogs (pick a side: Detroit or Flint chili) and plenty of things in between.
Michigan Food Named One of the Worst Rated in the World
However, you don't need to worry about pasties or coney dogs making the "worst" list. Instead, it was a dish that seemed to be especially loved by Michigan residents in the Lansing area:
The Olive Burger.
The olive burger seems to have wormed its way into the hearts and stomachs of many a Michigander, it even has a festival dedicated to it! However, the taste bus of Taste Atlas could not be swayed.

Taste Atlas recently put together a list of the "100 Worst Rated Foods in the World", taking into account dishes and their respective ratings from across the globe. Thanks to a brave soul who shared this in the Lansing Chowhounds Facebook group, otherwise we might have never known about this.

The olive burger scored a rating of 2.7, ranking it 54th out of 100 of the worst rated foods.
Don't worry though, the olive burger isn't the only America food to make the list. There were six others; ramen burger (burger with uncooked ramen for buns, frog eye salad (one of those weird salads with whipped cream), luther burger (burger with a donut for the bun), pizza strips, chocolate-covered bacon, and chicken à la king.
