A new poll reveals which celebrities Michigan would trust to run the country - and none of our picks match who America would choose.

Coventry Direct recently asked people all across the United States which celebs they would vote for as president - you know, if they were to run. They then broke the results up into six different categories: male and female actor, male and female musical artist, and male and female athlete.

Now, obviously none of these people have ever indicated any intentions to put their hats in the ring to become the leader of the free world. However, it's interesting to see who people in Michigan and America at large would pick.

Which Hollywood Celebs Would Michigan Elect for President?

According to this survey, Denzel Washington and Viola Davis would be Michigan's top picks for president - if they were to run.

America as a whole picked two other actors - Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock.

Which Musical Artists Would Michigan Pick to Be President?

When the hypothetical votes were tallied, Michigan picked Jon Bon Jovi and Adele as the musical artists they would trust in the Oval Office. (Adele wouldn't be eligible, since she's not from the United States.)

As a whole, America picked Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift (who's currently too young to run).

What Athletes Would Michigan Pick to Be President?

The Coventry Direct poll found that Michigan would select Steph Curry or Simone Biles to lead the nation above any other athletes.

America as a whole selected two other athletes: LeBron James and Serena Williams.
