Michigan Baker Competing On Food Network
Have your cooking skills improved during quarantine? Do you think you have what it takes to compete on some of our favorite food channels? Almost half of us think our cooking skills have improved this year. Fellow Michigander, Minh Bingham is ready to put her baking skills to the test. According to mlive, she's going to be on Food Network's "Christmas Cookie Challenge" for a chance to win $10,000! In case you missed it, the first episode aired last night!
Like most of us, Bingham taught herself how to bake in her childhood home. She was born in Vietnam but grew up in Texas after moving to the United States when she was a kid. Last year, she moved to Michigan and currently resides in Rochester Hills in Metro Detroit where she works as a defense contractor.
How are your baking skills? Mine are extremely poor. I'm not even going to attempt to gas up my skills. The last batch of cupcakes I made, were barely edible. They were some kind of chocolate banana cupcakes with Greek yogurt frosting and as beautiful as they looked, they were atrocious. I'll stick to the pre-packaged chocolate chip cookies, they're safer.
