Michigan Answers "THE" Ohio State Silliness

In case you missed it—Ohio State University wants to trademark the word "THE," as in "THE Ohio State University." They want to use the word "THE" on t-shirts and hats. According to NBC News, patent attorney and expert Josh Gerben is the person who brought this story to light. According to Gerben, Ohio State doesn't have much chance of succeeding. Now, Ohio University and THE University of Michigan have joined the battle, with Michigan suggesting that they might need to trademark one of their signature words. Check it out below:
