Michigan $18 Million Lottery Winner, New Powerball News
Playing the Michigan Lottery 3 or 4 times a week is nothing new to me, like many do, I dream of that big prize on a scratch-off. I do like playing Fantasy 5 because it is only 39 numbers and the odds of hitting are a lot less than Powerball or Mega-Millions.
The top prize starts at 100,000 which I would really be happy with. I have hit 4 out of 5 twice in the last year for 200 bucks. so close huh? Like they say you can't win if you don't play. Of course, we should never gamble on what we can't afford to lose.
I do like to play Lotto 47, also lower odds than Powerball and Mega-Millions. The jackpot starts at a cool million with 47 numbers. It was just up to 18 million because it kept rolling over and I did take a couple of shots.
$18 Million Dollar Winner
A Michigan player did win it though over the weekend according to fox47news.com. Someone got all 6 numbers last Saturday’s Lotto 47 and won an $18.41 million jackpot. This person has not come forward yet.
The lucky person can take 30 annuity payments of about $614,000 each or a one-time cash payment of about $11.7 million.
If you like to play Powerball you may have to add more to your playing budget because they are adding a 3rd weekly drawing according to mlive.com. Plus there will be a new feature with a chance to win $10 Million.
What's New To Powerball?
The addition will be called Double Play and has a 2nd drawing where you can match their regular Powerball numbers against the numbers in the Double Play drawing. Look for the Double Play drawing for all the Powerball games, which will happen Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
What would you do if you won millions?
