Michigan Man Wins Lottery and Drives Off With Gas Pump in Car
What would you do if you happened to win yourself one million dollars?
I'm not sure what I would do, but with how naturally clumsy I am, I'd probably do something like this too.
A 59-year old man in Genesee County won big while pumping his gas and was so stunned, he accidentally drove off with the pump still in his car.
The anonymous man told Michigan Lottery officials that he bought a Winning Millions ticket while filling his gas tank at a Speedway station in Fenton. While waiting, he got to scratching and realized he hit the $1 million jackpot.
I stopped at Speedway to get gas and decided to get a ticket while I was there. I started scratching the ticket while my gas was pumping. When I saw I’d matched the number 14 and then revealed the $1 million amount underneath, I started yelling: ‘Are you kidding me?!
He says he was so excited he forgot that he was still pumping his gas and took off.
I mean can you blame him? I totally would've done the same thing or I would've left my car and started running home.
Logic goes out of the window when something exciting like that happens.
The man has been playing Winning Millions since it started in December 2020 and received his winnings as a one-time lump sum of $634,517. He plans on using that money to buy a new home, car and go on vacation.
Winning Millions players have the chance to win anything from $10 to $1 million.
