Cottage on Lake Pettibone

This lakefront cottage has a ton of room and can sleep over fourteen people for $253 a night. If you split it between 10 people, that's a little over $25 per person. It has three bathrooms, four bedrooms and nine beds.

The cottage dock leads to Lake Pettibone which is perfect for tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more. If you have a boat, the hosts encourage you to bring it and tie off to the dock.

It's the perfect spot no matter the season. In the fall, the colors are beautiful and in the winter, you can enjoy the snowmobile trails nearby. Traverse City is only an hour away and if you ski or snowboard, Caberfae Peaks is a 45 minute drive.

Visitor Reviews

If you plan on visiting in the summer, there was one review that spoke about several gypsy moth caterpillars around the cabin in June during their visit. They typically feed on leaves throughout the end of June.

Do not hesitate to rent this gem. First impression was, Wow this is a nice house and it smells so fresh and clean. The owner has thought of everything you need. We enjoyed the fishing and saw a huge turtle. The paddle boards and Kayaks were a plus. The swimming area was perfect for the Grandkids. I can’t think of one negative. We would definitely stay here again.
