Man Flies Drone During MLB Game
Great. Now we're gonna have to get searched at the gates for drones...
According to ABC News, police questioned a man who was flying a drone inside Citizens Bank Park during the Philadelphia Phillies game on Sunday. Officials spotted the drone near the third-base gate before it landed in the parking lot outside. They say that the drone didn't fly over the field or disrupt the game. They questioned the drone-flyer and his drone was confiscated but apparently will be returned. However, they have asked the man to erase the camera images recorded by his drone.
For the record, the Federal Aviation Administration rules bar flying drones below 3,000 feet and within three miles of large baseball or football stadiums. So, don't try and sneak one in to Ford Field or Comerica Park because you've been warned...
