Major Road Construction Project Put On Hold For Memorial Day

Ahhhh....hear that? That's a sigh of relief coming from motorists in the Lansing area who travel on I-96. Why the sigh of relief? Because according to the Lansing State Journal, MDOT has announced that they are reopening the ramp from eastbound I-96 to northbound U.S.127 for the Memorial Day weekend.

However, don't get too excited. MDOT also says that the ramp will close again Tuesday night until construction is complete beginning in July. For a list of MDOT road construction projects for 2015, click here.
