MotorCity Casino in Detroit is one of only two casinos in Michigan's Lower Peninsula to be rated among the state's five most luxurious.

The bathroom was exquisite with a large walk in tiled shower and a soaking tub. Great bathroom amenities and bathrobe also.
Bay Mills Resort & Casino is in Brimley, Michigan, and is run by the Bay Mills Indian Community. It ranks as the 4th most luxurious casino in the state.

I must say after traveling in many different hotels this is the best vegan/vegetarian food we have ever encountered, as most vegetarian/vegan food offered are normally deep fried or a salad or a wrap. The food offered at this venue was deserving of any foodie.

The lobby is decorated in Native American style with exposed beams and a plank flooring. It is very spacious with numerous comfortable chairs to relax in. They also have a beautiful gas fireplace in the lobby.
Lac Vieux Desert Resort & Casino (a.k.a. Northern Waters) in Watersmeet ranks as the 2nd most luxurious casino in Michigan.
This one's even got its own 18-hole golf course, which impressed TripAdvisor review submitter AAAAwells:
The golf course is excellent. From the tee boxes to the fairways to the rough, it is in great shape. There are four tees on each hole which makes the course playable for all levels of players.

The hotel lobby welcomed us with the wonderful scent of vanilla coming from the candles for sale in the Gift Shop across the lobby. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the 12th floor Horizon Steakhouse with awesome views. Our room had all the amenities expected at a top rated hotel.
