Luke Bryan practically wrote the book on shaking what your mama gave you, but he admits he’s a little worried about being outdone at this year's ACM Awards by some guys who’ve been in the game for decades: the Backstreet Boys.

The boy band made their debut in the '90s and are alive and well, musically. In fact, they’re performing at the ACM's esteemed ceremony on Sunday (April 2) alongside Florida Georgia Line.

“I’m a little threatened by what potential moves they’re gonna [have]…” Bryan tells a crowd of media at an ACM Awards press conference on Friday.

His co-host, Dierks Bentley, is similarly not confident in Bryan’s ability to hold his own compared to longtime pros. “Yeah, Luke kind of has the dance market — all the moves — cornered,” Bentley adds. “And now the veterans are comin’ in.”

Bryan’s potential dance-off nemeses are performing their collaboration with FGL, “God, Your Mama and Me,” during the show. The song was released early this year. Florida Georgia Line have nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, Album of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for their collaboration with Tim McGraw, "May We All."

Bryan and Bentley are also up for awards on Sunday. Bryan received a nod for Entertainer of the Year, while Bentley is up for Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for his duet with Elle King, “Different for Girls.” This is Bryan’s fifth year running hosting the show and Bentley’s second. The ACM Awards air at 8PM ET on CBS.
