When Did Los Tres Amigos In East Lansing Close?

How did we not see this or notice this?

How did we not realize another business had closed its doors?

Perhaps we were blind to this, or it's that there's so much going on in Downtown East Lansing, but I am saddened to report that the Los Tres Amigos in East Lansing has permanently closed.

We're very clearly late to the game, as Los Tres Amigos had made an announcement a few months ago on social media. Los Tres had this to say on their Facebook page back in November 2021.

The closure looks super official now too because there is a giant for lease sign outside of the building.

Thankfully we haven't seen the last of Los Tres Amigos by any means, as it was only the East Lansing location that closed its doors. There are still plenty of locations throughout Michigan, including the mid-Michigan area. There are two locations in Jackson, one in Michigan Center, two here in Lansing, and a brand new one over in Holt that just recently opened.

It's always sad to hear that a business has closed its doors for the last time, whether it's by choice or due to unfortunate circumstances. However, a silver lining would be that another business now has the ability to come into that space and flourish.

For the time being, we don't know if a business has any plans on taking over that space. But, we do know that there are some other businesses coming to the Downtown East Lansing area...Goodfellas Bagels is planning a second location in East Lansing, and Jamba Juice and Auntie Anne's pretzels are coming to town too. Raising Cane's and Detroit Wing Company look to be opening soon as well.
