For me, there's nothing better than a heaping scoop of ice cream on a hot day, or any day, really (I'm a big fan of ice cream)! Summer and warmer weather are just good excuses to enjoy it a little bit more I think! If you too are looking forward to enjoying a delicious scoop of ice cream this summer, look no further than your own back yard!

According to Only In Your State, there are "12 Ice Cream Shops in Michigan [that] Are An Absolute Must-Try", and one of those must-tries is the MSU Dairy Store! The MSU Dairy Store can be found on MSU's campus in East Lansing. They serve up some traditional flavors like cookies & cream, butter pecan, and vanilla bean. BUT, they also serve up some unique flavor combos, with equally unique names! Capitol City Sundae ("vanilla based ice cream with brownie pieces, chocolate chunks, and a fudge swirl"), Maize-N-Berry ("vanilla ice cream with a blueberry pie-filling swirl and pie crust pieces"), and - my favorite - Sesquicentennial Swirl ("white cake batter ice cream with green thick fudge swirl and cake pieces").
