Nonstop, Please! 5 Routes Lansing’s Airport Needs

Lansing's Capital Region International Airport recently announced new nonstop routes to Fort Myers, Florida, and Los Cabos, Mexico, and it got us thinking - where else would we love to fly to nonstop from Lansing?

It didn't take long at all to come up with a list of five suggestions.

How cool would it be to just hop on a plane in Lansing and head to Las Vegas for the weekend? Check out The Sphere, maybe take in some shows, blow a few bucks?

We'd be willing to bet (pun intended) that direct flights to Vegas from Lansing would be well received.

What About a Nonstop Flight From Lansing to Miami?

Capital Region International Airport has a long history of direct flights to a variety of Florida destinations, including Tampa, Orlando and Fort Myers. How about one to Miami?

Southern Florida just has a different vibe than the rest of the Sunshine State.

Lansing Should Fly Non-Stop to LA

Southern Florida's an awesome flyaway destination, but so is Southern California.

Obviously, Hollywood's a fun attraction, but so are the nearby Universal and Disney parks. Los Angeles has an amazing art scene too.

Someone make a nonstop flight from Lansing to Nashville happen.

It takes a good seven hours to get from Lansing to Nashville by car, but it would take a little over an hour if we could get a direct flight between the two cities.

Nashville's a perfect destination for a girls' or boys' weekend, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or just a fun getaway. Being a country music fan is a bonus, but not a requirement to have a good time.
