Lansing Area Recycling Event On Saturday

Meridian Township will be holding their Fall Recycling Event on Saturday, September 28th from 9 am to 2 pm at Chippewa Middle School. The event is open to all residents in the Lansing area.

Here's a list of some things that will be accepted this Saturday at the recycling event:

• Electronics*
• Medicines
• Bicycles and Bike Parts
• Egg Cartons & Packing Peanuts
• Household Items
• Coats & Winter Gear
• Metal*
• Paint (liquid or dry)*

*Please note that some fees will be applied for some items that are brought to the event. Those items include: televisions, monitors, items containing Freon and latex, oil and alkyd paints/stains. You can click here to see what those additional fees will be. Chippewa Middle School is located at 4000 Okemos Road in Okemos. And again, you do not have to be a Meridian Township resident to participate in the recycling event. Click here for more info.
