Edmund's Pastime originally opened on South Washington Square in Downtown Lansing. That location opened in 2010 and closed in 2014.
The latest iteration of Edmund's Pastime opened in the former home of Arcadia Smokehouse and Brewery at 2101 E Michigan Avenue, which had been open from 2018 to early 2023.
Edmund's Pastime first opened in Lansing's Eastside Neighborhood in November 2024, serving up Italian and American cuisine, along with a pretty extensive beer and cocktail menu. Brunch was also pretty popular at Edmund's.
Edmund's Pastime Has Closed Again
However, after several weeks of inconsistent hours, followed by a couple more weeks of complete darkness, Edmund's is officially no more. The signage has quietly come down from the exterior of the restaurant, and the inside is deserted as well.
It's always sad to see a restaurant close its doors, particularly one that tried to give things a second go.
Until then, the former restaurant site will sit empty.
More Lansing Restaurants Have Closed in 2026
Edmund's Pastime isn't the only restaurant to permanently close its doors this year. The Greater Lansing Area has seen some notable closures, with places like Coral Gables in East Lansing, Riedy's Tavern in Charlotte, and Smokey Bones in Lansing all closing their doors this year.
