Lansing Area Pets That Celebrated National Pet Day
It was National Pet Day on Wednesday and on the WITL Facebook page, I asked listeners to send in some of their favorite pictures of their pet and we got a great selection of photos from our WITL listener family. If you click through the gallery of pictures, you'll see some furry' best friends', some cute 'dog-twins', a cat that's apparently taking the best nap ever, awesome facial expressions and a pig! Thanks to everyone who submitted a picture.
By the way, National Pet Day happens every year on April 11th. It was started as a day to encourage people to pay special attention to pets who may not get that extra attention...like pets in shelters or a pet who is recovering from an illness.
