A kindergartner in New Jersey found a lizard in his school salad last week and what they did with it afterward is pretty awesome. (Especially if you like lizards...)

According to NJ.com, officials with the elementary school in New Jersey say the lizard was cold and lifeless after being stuck in the salad and in the refrigerator for several days. Once they found the lizard, the science teacher warmed the lizard up and then put it in a cage in the classroom.

Now the 3-inch anole lizard has a new home and a new name. The class has decided to name their new pet lizard, "Green Fruit Loop." For the record, the store produce manager where the tatsoi greens came from said the greens are cleaned as they're stocked, so the lizard must've been hiding in a leaf. (Sure...) ;)
