Jerrod Niemann Wants to Get Brett Eldredge Arrested on Keith Urban Tour
Jerrod Niemann is currently out on the road with Keith Urban and Brett Eldredge as part of Urban's Raise 'Em Up Tour, and true to his wild nature, the 'Drink to That All Night' hitmaker is hoping to find some trouble.
“I just look forward to getting out there and seeing if I can get Brett Eldredge arrested and seeing if Keith will bail us out," Niemann says jokingly.
Of course, touring alongside Urban is a dream come true for the singer -- he sometimes has to pinch himself because he doesn't believe it's true.
“Keith is one of those guys where you feel like you’re lying when you tell people you’re going on tour with Keith Urban because it just sounds too big and too good to be true," Niemann tells the Country Vibe.
Niemann respects Urban's ability to take a chance with his music, and is excited about playing for audiences that appreciate that. He hopes this will help him connect with all of Urban's fans while on the road.
“We take chances musically and Keith has always done that," Niemann -- who loves an edgy drinking tune -- explains. "He’s such an incredible musician and so I think that we’ve always been fortunate enough to play in front of some great crowds with tours we’ve been on, but maybe for the first time there may be even more of a gel with the music that we’ve been recording and his fans, hopefully."
Niemann and 'Don't Ya' hitmaker Eldredge will be on the road with the 'American Idol' judge through September.
