Jeopardy Guy Loses on Shakespeare Question – To Shakespeare Expert
What's the biggest story in America right now?
Trump and China trade wars? No.
The 2020 elections? No.
The NBA Finals? No.
The biggest news is, in fact that guy (James Holzhauer) finally losing on Jeopardy.
ESPN shared the story this morning with some new details about just what happened and how he was brought down by University of Chicago librarian, Emma Boettcher,
But - was there conspiracy afoot last night?
Here's what happened: Emma beat James on a Final Jeopardy question about Shakespeare. What was the subject of Emma's undergraduate thesis at Princeton Shakespeare's plays. What was the subject of Emma's master's paper at the University of North Carolina in 2016? "On predicting the difficulty of trivia questions using 'Jeopardy!' clues."
I'm not saying the Deep State conspired to bring James down before he beat Ken Jennings' record, but.....actually, that is exactly what I'm inferring.
Very curious. Here's the story.
