We first reported the news of Rihanna's business coming to Michigan in November 2022.

Fans of Rihanna's music and powerhouse Fenty brands of clothing and make-up want to know when Savage X Fenty will open in Detroit, MI.

Is Savage X Fenty still opening in Detroit?

According to a report by Crain's Business Detroit, Rihanna has secured property at 1442 Woodward Avenue in Downtown Detroit.

That's near Shinola, but not much has happened to date.

Some signage has gone up on the storefront, which is the only branding, so far.

There hasn't been any further information published by the company. Nor any new location listing for Detroit on the company website.

The store was said to be opening in 2023. Obviously, that isn't happening.

We need to be clear; nobody is saying it is not happening either.

Where will Savage X Fenty be located in Detroit?

Downtown Detroit will be home to the new store. The location isn't too far from the ballpark, stadium and arena.
