Michigan Bar Crowned Best Sports Spot in the Nation

A big congratulations is in order for one Michigan sports bar team, which just earned the title of Best Sports Bar in America in a nationwide competition.

When it comes to picking the nation’s top sports bar, this competition is no joke. Over 1,200 spots go head-to-head every year, with only a few making it through the intense rounds to claim the title. This time, one Michigan bar fought its way to the top and scored the #1 spot.

After starting with over a thousand competitors, the contest narrowed down to a top 50, then 10, then just 3 finalists—and, finally, the winner was revealed at the Buffalo Wild Wings’ annual Blazin’ Games competition in Atlanta.

This year's winner goes to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Dearborn, Michigan.

While the competition is among only Buffalo Wild Wings locations, it’s still a big deal, showcasing the best of the best in the chain. Each team puts in countless hours to perfect their service, food, and overall game-day experience. This is truly a huge deal for everyone competing.

I talked with one team member who said they worked super hard for this, while another shared her excitement on social media.

Apparently, one of their prizes is a trip to Ford Field to watch the Lions play, and they couldn’t have picked a better year to win this competition.
