Considering some of Pine Knobs most recent additions to the 2026 schedule, like KESHA to KIDZ BOP, Wu-Tang-Clan to The Strokes, Jack White to Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival, it would be harder to find a summer filled with more varying genres.

If you've never been to Pine Knob to enjoy a show, many could argue that you aren't officially a Michigander. Sure, you may use Vernors as medicine and unwillingly utter "Ope," when you bump into someone, but if you've never picked a spot on "the grass" to soak in a live show... your "Michigan Card" could be revoked. What to Bring to Pine Knob

While some lawn seat concert goers may choose to bring their own lawn chair, the easiest way to sit on the hill is to bring a blanket. Sure, a seat is nice, but usually after the opening number, no one is sitting down anyway. Which leads me to another thing: those of us who are too cheap to pony up for an actually assigned seat know: wear comfortable shoes to Pine Knob.
