Breakfast is absolutely my favorite meal of the day.

Where is your favorite place to grab an omelet or a Belgian waffle? Real Food Café and New Beginnings in Grand Rapids are high on my list. My first ever job was actually at a breakfast joint in South Haven that had THE BEST biscuits and gravy, R.I.P. Cousin's Family Restaurant...

Finance Buzz sought to find the best breakfast joint in each state.

Their pick for Michigan? The Hudson Café in Detroit.

The Hudson Café is on Woodward Avenue and named after the Hudson department store that used to be across the street. The restaurant serves Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch in Downtown Detroit seven days a week.

Hudson Cafe's menu has a huge selection of decadent Pancakes, French Toast, and Waffles with all kinds of toppings!

Cinnabun is cinnamon swirl pancakes with cream cream frosting. Chunky Monkey Pancakes are topped with caramel, white chips, and banana. There's also Graham Cracker Crusted French Toast, Churro French Toast, Red Velvet and Fruit Covered Waffles, and ;more!

For eggs, you'll find a selection of Omelets, Benedicts, and Huevos Rancheros.

There's also Sweet and Savory Crepes.

With cocktails we are getting more into brunch territory, but I gotta say, Hudson Cafe's drinks looks delicious! There's coffee drinks, mimosas, seasonal alcoholic beverages, breakfast cereal shots, and of course, a Bloody Mary.

If you're more in the mood for lunch, you can get that too. Hudson Cafe serves up sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, and burgers too.
