Fast food has become anything but that as lines have become longer and food isn't as fresh due to the lack of workers. Some decided to just not go back after the pandemic and others have decided that the money they offer isn't enough for the job required. All of these factors have been piling up like a snowball leading to many customers becoming upset due to the inconveniences.

Michigan has seen the effects of the labor market and inflation in many facets but the food industry has been worse than most. Food prices have skyrocketed in both the grocery stores and at restaurants while the timing convenience has gone away as well. Many paying customers have become upset with these conditions and have lashed out at workers. Most of the time it is restrained to verbal displeasure but this man in Michigan took it to another level at Chipotle.

I'm not going to lie and act like I haven't been upset while waiting for food before, feeling like it's taking too long but there is normally a reason for this. I may have my frustrations inside but I hardly act or speak on them, mostly because the crew is often small and working as hard as they can. Other times they are following rules set by the corporate office which means it's never really their fault. One man in Michigan wasn't happy with the rules and decided to take it out on one of the workers.

A man in Southfield, Michigan was ordering food from one of the Chipotle locations in town when everything was flipped upside down. Almost literally, as he began to fight with an employee after having a dispute over his order. The man was unhappy with the amount of guacamole on his order and decided to walk behind the counter and try and get more himself.

This would lead to a physical altercation between the 32-year-old man and the 21-year-old employee. As the man was trying to leave the employee tried to grab him to keep him in the restaurant until authorities arrived. That's when the man pulled out a handgun and shot the employee in his leg before fleeing the scene in his car.
