If you know me, you know I'm always promoting a good nights sleep. Getting a bad nights sleep can really affect your day. There's nothing worse than tossing and turning all night long trying to find a comfortable position. What I didn't know is the position you choose to sleep in can affect your health. According to Yahoo, sleeping on your stomach is bad for your health and could lead to various health issues. This actually doesn't surprise me. I don't know about you, but every time I sleep on my stomach, my back is killing me the next day.

So what's the best position to sleep in? Experts say it's the fetal position. Which is absolutely wild to me and would probably be last on my list of choices. Healthline says, "Not only is it great for lower back pain or pregnancy, sleeping in the fetal position can help reduce snoring."

What else are we doing wrong when we're sleeping? According to BestLife, we're supposed to sleep with socks on. Which FREAKS me out. I can't stand the feeling of my socks scrapping against the covers. But then again, I can't stand the feeling of my scaly feet, that are in need of a pedicure scrapping against the covers either. Ya win some ya lose some.

I've had trouble sleeping for the last several years. I've tried just about everything except doing a sleep study. The things that work best for me are a weighted blanket and blue-light glasses. What helps you fall asleep at night? Download the app and shoot us a message.
